Click on the picture to see it full size. The text says "5 inches from base of neck to top of forehead" and "7 inches from ear to ear (over top of the head), 7 inches around the back of the head at base of neck."
A small string is definitely helpful to keep it tied on. Also some varying sizes are good, as we won't really know what will work best until we try them on her.
The two little hats that my friend's Mom made meet these measurements. I'm going to buy some pink ribbon today to add the finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I have been trouble finding sewn patterns. I have some beautiful, soft silk I'd like to make some hats from; if you have seen a pattern on your board that you would like me to use, I would like very much to make you three hats, size preemie, newborn, and 0-3. <3 (-Kristi)
